Depp is an awesome actor. The story got depressing toward the end, but I liked it alot.
I gave it a 5 because I normally hate movies set in that era regardless of how good or bad it is. The only other movie I like set in that "uppity white man with a wig and make-up on" vibe is Sleepy Hollow.
