Review of The Leopard (1963) by Tom H — 17 Oct 2009
Epic drama featuring Burt Lancaster in a very different role than I am used to see him in. I saw the italian version because of the hd-transfer, so Lancasters`s voice was sadly dubbed. Luchino Visconti proves to be a great director in many ways.
but I did see many flaws that I will not bother mentioning because of its unimportance to the film as a whole. it is over 3 hours long but time went by like a brief wind. a must see film for movie geeks like yours truly.
