Review of The Leopard (1963) by Chris B — 30 Sep 2013
Ambitious Visconti production based on Italy's all-time bestselling novel "Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa". Hoaky at times, but worth viewing. Burt Lancaster (of all people!) has a starring role; he says he based his persona on the highly restrained, elegantly aristocratic manner of Visconti himself.
