I have to say I was disappointed by this movie.

To start, my main flaws involved the humor in this movie. There was a lot of it, and not all of it landed. It seemed to put quantity over quality and as a result the film suffered. There were some funny jokes and scenes, but overall I didn't find myself laughing nearly as much as I did at "The Lego Movie".

The story was also kind of... meh. I won't get into spoilers, but I will say it was predictable. It was a cool plot to be sure, but I felt they could have done more with it.

There are positives though. First off, the animation is beautiful and was a joy to watch. There were some characters that grew over the film and were enjoyable, as well as some cameos that were hilarious.

Overall, it definitely isn't a bad movie but it isn't anything I found special.
