Review of The Legend of Tarzan (2016) by Rodrigo G — 31 Jul 2016
First, I should admit I read all the books when I was younger. Second, I rated this higher than I probably should have. I do think it was good all-fashioned movie entertainment. The harry-potter'ish special effects near the end didn't fit and the climax could have been, but I really enjoyed the secondary characters.
Sam Jackson was pretty funny. The 'good' tribesmen were well-played too. I imagine the set was entertaining. At least they caught on to the fact that Tarzan never controls anyone. He adapts to become one of them.
Superman was modelled after him for a reason.
