Review of The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) by Matthew C — 25 May 2010
Rad! This 80s cheese fest is a great deal of half guilty fun. Helen Slater and Christian Slater play siblings who get mixed up in a youth revolution after a tiff with local hooligans spirals out of control.
Great 80s music, including a frequently used, catchy tune form Pat Benatar, as well as plenty of hair spray and short shorts make for some fun retro viewing. Pretty typical of the 80s 'youth gone wild'/'fight the stuffy authority' type films.
But hey, they were fun then and they're fun now.
