According to the internet, Pat Benatar alludes to this as the "worst film ever made". As much as I love Pat, she can suck it. 25 years ago this film got me through a lonely teenage summer on HBO and having recently re-watched it.
..it holds up. "Pay as you go. Earn as you learn." COME ON. Keith Gordon?!? Dean Stockwell?!? BARRY 'I dated Kelly McGillis' Tubb?!? I could go on and on because I do truly love this film, but I'll stop because, well, I'm going to run out of characters.
I do have this theory though that Peter Coyote's police detective is in love with Billie Jean, and I do believe I am right.
