Not certain it would be quite as meaningful to folk who've never seen the T.V. series, but it's an interest twist, I guess playing a bit of the same game as The Matrix in some ways. It's got some very funny moments, but doesn't quite have what it takes to make it into your list of "must own" films.
Not a bad watch by any means. The only slight down side with it is that it doesn't really fully exploit all the characters of the T.V. series - just some of them.
