Review of The Lavender Hill Mob (1951) by John R — 28 Dec 2003
Amusing, droll, fantastic character work by Guinness. Quite brilliant direction and visuals, but a lackluster ending. Doesn't have the punch that it should have.
Not as ambitious and not as good as Kind Hearts and Coronets, but still, quite remarkable. Audrey Hepburn is beautiful.
