Review of The Lavender Hill Mob (1951) by Alister N — 06 Jun 2007
A farce comedy about a botched heist, and another of the Ealing/Alec Guinness tongue-in-cheek comedies parodying British culture in grand fashion. The narrative is a little thin relying on coincidence, but it such fun that it doesn't really matter, esp.
the cute ending.
