Review of The Last Winter (2006) by F A — 22 Nov 2008
This film did a good job of building up the suspense and matching creepy supernatural goings-on with the very real perils of life in the far North. The attempt to blame global warming for the emerging horror felt artificial and didn't hang together all that well (a combined lack of exploration and explanation) and the ending was a bit of a damp squib, but otherwise an entertaining watch.
