Review of The Last Winter (2006) by Andrew C — 13 Apr 2009
A bizarrely disjointed film, starting off with the relationships and rivalries between the main characters, spending some time setting up the 'Is It Real Or In Their Heads?' elements, and then launching into a more traditional horror movie ending which only fails to satisfy in that much of the film fails to hang together as a whole.
Beyond that, the acting is all great and the film looks good, though it is a film that does things its own way. The final scene, however, is superb - an excellent closing shot.
