At that beginning of this it said to listen to this movie LOUD. I hadn't been told that since Driller Killer so I did & was blown away for the most past. A majority of the music that I listen to is classic rock & have been for about 25 years but Th Band was never one of the those that I sought out.
I never owned any of their music & the only song I know by name is The Wait. Surprisingly after listening to classic rock radio for all these years I knew most of these songs. This is truly a group that I under estimated.
Their farewell concert is excellent & garners enough interest to get Martin Scorsese behind the camera & to have an all star supporting players. I enjoyed this more then Song Remains the Same that I watched recently & Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands.
The Band is truly under appreciated. A damn fine concert film.
