Definitely my favourite Jesus movie. Awesome perfomances that never made me bored, a great premise and just about the most badass Jesus that has ever been portrayed onscreen. I owe seeing this to Kevin Smith. The best selling point for this movie is him going:
"I used to believe in love but now I believe in this and it's a fucking axe and you're like "GET HIM, JESUS! BREAK THE CHAIN OF EVIL! Ooooh, Jesus is here...SHIT'S ON!".
Seriously, watch this movie. Classic.
