Willem Dafoe s Jesus, all the Jews have Brooklyn accents... and in spite of that it wasn't good?! I admire the idea of taking a different look at Christ - in this case showing his human element - but the delivery is so ludicrous and silly that it only come off as offensive, which was most likely not what Scorsese - a Catholic - was trying to do.
