This is an outstanding film with Willem Dafoe playing the role of Christ. I found the book by Nikos Katzansikas very moving, but the the movie even more so...the vision of Jesus Christ yearning for the most human of all emotions.
..love, caring, and the warmth of family so humanizes Christ that you can't help but find this man who has been so mythicized a more beloved person.
