I fully understand where the controversy from this movie came from but I also feel that if the people fussing would actually sit down and watch the film, they would see that, if anything, it does justice to Jesus Christ.
The bible itself talk of Jesus being tempted but when it comes to seeing how hard it was for him to have these human desires and to know of his divinity was just to much for some people. I think that Willem DaFoe has given the world one of the most honest portrayals of Jesus yet.
