For those of us who are followers of christ we might have qualms with this film with saying that it is very out there at times and its not based on the gospels but a novel. the problem I had with the film is jesus was making crosses and married mary magdalene.
but all in all this film has spot of great film making. not scorseses's best but yet it alright.
