Review of The Last Legion (2007) by Francisca M — 14 Apr 2009
I was expecting this to be like a pretty tame and yet usual piece of work for a medieval set film with as usual backgorunds, swords, armour, and fights. Plus the story doesn't really lead you anywhere different.
And the acting is not really that good except terrific acting from Ben Kingsley as a philo and Bride and Prejudice lady Aishwarya Rai as a warrior in this with a lovley face and yet a good charm. Colin Firth I can see just doesn't really make it out for a seroius roman general and should stick to romance and comedy.
The speech is the usual you hear over and over again. The Legend it leads up to though is the promse of the film.
