Review of The Last Legion (2007) by Christina K — 20 Jul 2012
A good mix between King Arthur and The Eagle!
The Eagle is really newer anyway.
Peplums, movies set in the Middle Ages are some of my favorite genres.
I've always preferred battles with swords, bows and spears, with horses and battering rams, ladders and catapults, with halberds and crossbows, chainmails and great helms.
I anyway love tons of modern movies and gunfights in them.
But I'd've loved to live in those dark times of chivalry.
This kind of movies always make us travel.
It offers us beautiful landscapes, no ugly things, great costumes, make-ups, sets, musics, adventures, action, drama, emotions, crazy battles...
This 1 isn't a great great film, but it's anyway really enjoyable to watch, better than some, worse than others.
I was afraid it'd be less good, so, it was a pretty good surprise, although I expected it to be good.
