Review of The Last King of Scotland (2006) by Sam L — 08 Aug 2009
Intense! But none of the main characters were particularly likeable. James McAvoy was fantastic, but he played a total opportunist. Although, this was less obvious to me in the book, which I really enjoyed and thought the film was pretty true to it.
Liked the Giles Foden cameo. Disappointed that they missed out the bit with the man's head in Amin's fridge... Definitely worth watching.
