Whitaker's performance is simply breathtaking. He doesn't just steal the show...he inhabits the screen and makes every second of his presence felt in a manner which can only be compared to the most powerful of film personas.
What makes it all the more amazing is the fact that McAvoy almost matches him shot for shot. Almost...not quite though.
