Review of The Last House on the Left (2009) by Walter C — 06 Dec 2010
A bad guy breaks out of prison and kidnaps two girls who made the mistake of hanging out with his son. The girls are taken out to the country where one of them is raped and both are left to die.
That's the first half of the movie where bad people do bad things.
The second half of the movie has those bad people get what's coming to them when the show up asking to take shelter in the house of the parents of one of the girls. The parents basically find out what happens and take care of business.
It's better than the original movie on which it's based. Tony Goldwyn and Monica Potter stand out as the parents and the action scenes near the end are well handled.
