Review of The Last House on the Left (2009) by Tiffany D — 29 Jun 2016
The setup in this remake is a good one - naive girls looking for a little fun find themselves the victim of a gang in the midst of a crime spree. Their ensuing drama was actually a little difficult to watch.
.. then the script gets flipped when the gang seeks refuge from one of the girls' parents. While it really didn't give me a scare, it DID give me some good laughs - and one of the best death scenes ever in the genre.
3-ish stars.
