They don't make movies like this anymore. Scratch that, they CAN'T make movies like this anymore. Movies like this are dangerous because they remind us that we can be silly, ridiculous, and still have a good time at the movies without excessive realism.
You've got action, romance (Vanity is extraordinary for her time), loads of 80's style comedy, and the man who might be the greatest antagonist of all time. Mr. Nuff. Great performances all around.
I watch this movie at least 6 times per year and I don't see those numbers slowing down anytime soon.
