Review of The Last Detail (1973) by Eric R — 24 Nov 2009
A very strong film about two navy sailors commissioned to escort a young fellow sailor to jail. The performances by Jack Nicholson and Randy Quaid are both really fantastic. The relationship between Nicholson and Young was very believable which just helped the story more once it got going.
Its a very funny film but also quite dramatic, as we watch these men all deal with there own "prisons".
