Review of The Last Detail (1973) by Marcos S — 17 Apr 2013
Irreverent and very human, Hal Ashby assembles a rough portrait of the end of one man's life and the mundane days of his two escorts as they sweep him towards prison. Thankfully, a lot gets caught up along the way and his guards refuse to let their charge leave the world of the free without a few grand last and first times, whatever the cost.
