Review of The Last Detail (1973) by Alex A — 12 Dec 2013
Jack Nicholson just steals the show with a ferociously energetic performance in Hal Ahby's black comedy. Ashyby's direction and the screenplay by Robert Towne create a world where the characters are realistic likeable and sympathetic.
It's a great old-school 70s anti hero movie that's non stop fun from beginning to end. In hindsight its a shame movies like this don't get made anymore.
