One of my favourite movies as a child, I wasn't sure how this would hold up. I was pleased that it was still a great movie - you have to look beyond the dated special effects. I've never read the original story by ERB, but this adaptation by Michael Moorcock is a fun ride!
Totally sweet that Anthony Ainley had a role in this, too!
