I actually thought The Lake House was a strong movie over-all. I'm surprised by how low the critics scored the movie. Yes, it may have seemed lost & confused at some points, especially in the first part.
But, for me, it was all part of the whole scheme of things. All loose ends, I think, were successfully tied up in the end. In addition, Keanu and Sandra were both very good. My only beef is with the visual treatment.
I think it could have been made better.
