Review of The Lake House (2006) by Dina H — 16 Mar 2018
Unfathomable nonsense. The premise is bad enough but the script is just appalling. The editing is so fragmented that it feels like 3 or 4 different people had free reign over their "bits" so much so that it feels like several films.
But most of all, without any doubt, the biggest downfall is in the hopeless direction. This film needs to be in every film school in the world to show 'how to make a lousy feature film' in spite of the biggest named Actors you can find on the day.
An appalling waste of screen space.
