Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Deana W — 21 Sep 2007
Love this movie. It's witty and suspenseful and the characters are really amusing. It's clearly a commentary on Britain's attitude before and during WWII. Lots to say about bravery, ethnocentrism and the famous English stiff upper lip.
I love both the hotel section and the train section. And the cricket-obsessed couple have as much chemistry as the main leads.
