Review of The Lady Vanishes (1938) by Særún G — 25 Feb 2010
I usually dislike old British and foreign films from the 1930s because the actual quality is shit. Bad film splices from cutting and pasting the film back together are quite common. However, it's no wonder Hitchcock began making films in America not long after "The Lady Vanishes.
" This movie is simply amazing in its acting, storytelling and suspense. Too bad the physical quality of the film is crap.
