Review of The Lady in the Van (2015) by Martha G — 23 Jan 2016
While the story was simple, the director made it seem like a murder mystery. I was fascinated by the mysterious lady played with such unapologetic depth by Dame Maggie Smith. The lady's past was revealed in small steps leading the viewers on a journey of discovery and understanding.
I recommend this film for fans of Dame Maggie for she did not disappoint. She still has all the talent and range as any out there.
