Review of The Lady Eve (1941) by Michael R — 13 Feb 2010

Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda prove that nothing is sexier than a dame who's much more clever than the guy. She'd prove it again, of course, in Double Indemnity. Great comic timing between the two.

If Fonda can't handle the physical comedy as well as Cary Grant, for example, he carries his earnest naivete very well. A lot of fun to watch.
