Review of The Lady Eve (1941) by Antonius B — 24 Sep 2016
This is supposed to have one of the funniest screenplays ever written; pull the other one. It isn't funny, I suppose that, back then, it was funny for the audience to see a female actor telling the jokes and coming out with all the smart lines.
These days we look for something a bit more to make us laugh. A pretty forgettable film.
