Review of The Lady (2011) by Dinesh P — 26 Sep 2013
Beautiful film directed with passion by talented director Luc Besson. This is a well detailed biography of Aung San Suu Kyi, great face of the revolution in Myanmar. The film covers about 20 years of her life, from the moment she comes back to her country to her late engagement in the fight against the dictature, then her imprisonment at home & to finish her almost godly statue nowadays.
.. It's well acted, well written, greatly shot, entertaining & somehow not too apologetic... a good film.
