Number one, I don't care about the book. it's a book, this is a film. different things, different stories.
This is an awesome film, with a brilliant story to tell. Although it isn't in the most a happy film it leaves you feeling happy that you've seen it because it challenges your view on friendship and loyalty to those who have stood by you.
The shots of the mountains are beautiful. When the lights went up in the cinema we just looked at each other in wet eyed shock... that this film was so good.
