Review of The King's Speech (2010) by Andrew K — 25 Jan 2013
Brilliantly written and acted, The King's Speech is without a doubt a touching drama deserving of being in the history books. The characters of King George and Lionel are interesting and likeable and their various interactions are entertaining and welcome.
There's also a couple of genuinely comical scenes that are sure to be remembered. The only flaw is that occasionally things take a while to get going but it's hardly a reason to pass up this fine work.
