Review of The Kingdom (2007) by Cheffoi Z — 12 Apr 2010
A very violent but realistic view into terrorism that puts 4 FBI agents in Saudi Arabia investigating the murder of hundreds of Americans. Though the performances were good and believable for the most part, I felt Jamie Foxx's character, Agent Fleury and Saudi Police Colonel Faris al-Ghazi portrayed by Ashraf Barhom were the best.
These two characters butt heads in the beginning and disagree on most everything but by the end of the movie, the viewer can see that these two have become good friends. Thought this movie is based on violent events and portrays many gruesome and violent acts, this movie also is about humanity.
