I've watched this several times' over the years. it really hard tryin' to wrap my brain around this one. I can't even imagine how anyone can endure such hell, much less have it inflicted by your own government.

this is a part of history I would'nt imagine is being taught in our schools. I could'nt believe that after all this shit, haing s. ngor manages to escape from this nightmare,& makes it to the western world & looses his life.

.. you talk about bad kharma! I highly reccomend this movie. definately not for the squeamish! sam waterston & john malkovich were brilliant!
