Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Tom H — 16 Mar 2010
Good film although I was looking forward to hearing more about the history of Pol Pot's regime of terror and I dont think it went into detail about the socalled "education camps" were the unfortunate souls were sent to.
Aside from this it was a joy to watch how a friendship unfolded and how when separated for a long period were eventually reunited.
The re-uniting of the 2 friends in the story was set to the backdrop of John Lennons "Imagine" and is now notorious in film history.
Maybe not the action some people would like to see from a war movie but definately a great watch and id recommend it.
