Review of The Killing Fields (1984) by Brandon P — 01 Apr 2011
As moving and powerful now, perhaps even more so, than it was when the film was originally released. The Killing Fields brings a highly talented cast to a movie filled with images and sounds that play back in your head long after you've got done watching it.
Though graphic in nature and certainly not for kids, I would highly recommend it to anyone. Making the film even more hard hitting is its trance like soundtrack, beautiful photographing of Cambodia, and the fact this film was based on a true story.
