Review of The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) by Bill T — 21 Sep 2009

Although I used to love this movie to pieces, time has certainly has not been kind to this movie, as this sendup of movies, trailers and commercials, has certainly been done twice over. But this is one of the originals, and it's interesting to see the ZAZ at such an early point of their career honing the jokes they were to use in Airplane, Naked Gun et al.

Not all of it works, the kung fu movie most notably, but when it does, especially during Courtroom, it's a treasure trove.
