A new take on the Civil war era that has been somewhat overlooked in film. I think sheds new light on the burden women had to bear.
I think though there didn't seem to be enough that happen. To me it felt more like a TV pilot for a show . I was just really becoming attached to the leads when the movie ended. But I would recommend it all the same.
