Review of The Keep (1983) by Rikard S — 16 Nov 2007

This film just amazed me from start to end. great cast/direction and great sfx for the time. The golum type creature (no not the one from lord of the rings!) had me transfixed to the screen. I only wish it would have a DVD or even better a blue-ray/hd release so I could watch it in high quality.

The only downside is that it could do with cleaning up some of the scenes & the sound. but even with these problems it didnt detract from a great movie experience. It does have it's eighties moments but if you think tangerine dream made the score for this then the 80s wasnt so bad? If there exists a 3hour cut of this film i'd bloody kill to see it! they don't make horror films like this anymore! shame.
