Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Brian D — 28 Jan 2008
Should never have been made. Although Daniel has now been Miyagi's student for at least two years, in this film he seems to have forgotten everything he ever learned about karate as he is repeatedly beaten and tormented by another bully.
This movie is excruciatingly poor from beginning to end with the characters constantly not acting like themselves (Miyagi is far too diminutive, while Daniel has none of the swagger he had in the first two films).
A sad conclusion for two beloved characters.
