Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by Kyle M — 19 Sep 2014
The storyline - a rehash of the better predecessors - had probably inspired the director to do sort-of the same direction when he went on directing "Rocky V," which was also the least of its own series and more enjoyable than this.
This mad second sequel went on with the same type of basic formula that second sequels uses: the original antagonist comes back with a grudge and back-up. But what make this one mad is that the greatness was overly overcome by the abundant of nastiness.
With all that, it's too much to handle to watch it, making this the least watchable of the trilogy, but it's still okay when there's still goodness remaining to try its best to fight back.
(B-).
