Review of The Karate Kid Part III (1989) by The Impetus Of Being: 1983 — 16 Jun 2008
There was something more grittier than the other two movies, and I'm careful to say that, because in this one it tests the friendship between Miyagi-sama and Daniel, but also pushes Daniel to the edge in ways he hadn't imagined while the past catches up with him rather than Miyagi-sama; the villain circumvents his plan of "avenging" his friend for what happend in the first, and by that means manages to hurt Miyagi-sama in ways HE didn't imagine.
I want to say this was a good movie, but feel it broke from the other two. On its own it was good, but in collaboration with the first? I dunno. Definitely worth a watch, and if you feel up to it, should watch all three.
