Review of The Karate Kid (2010) by Aaron C — 17 Jul 2012

This movie was a total waste of time for anyone who saw the original Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio....not only is the plot identical (newly transplanted kid (who lives with his single mother) is bullied by local boys and trains to compete in a tournament by his apartment building's maintenance man....I mean, it is so identical that there was literally no point in making the "new" one....not to mention the fact that THIS Karate Kid doesn't even use karate....HE USES KUNG FU! Seriously, this film could not have been more pathetic if they tried.

The only people who could possibly enjoy this "new" Kung-Fu Kid are children who are too young to have seen the original in its prime, or imbeciles who enjoy watching crappy remakes that pretend to offer something new.
